  Kent's fabulous Stately Home Boot Sale was back at Hole Park and this year it was better than ever! It wasn't just car boots filled with weird and wonderful possessions, but horse boxes and trailers too! Sellers, who were strictly by invitation, had cleared out every nook and cranny in the attics and cellars of stately homes and country houses across Kent and beyond. ~ Kent's last Stately Home Car Boot Sale in 2006 ~
 
     
 

In May 2006 the sun shone over Kent to make the County's fourth Stately Home Boot Sale the most successful ever. An estimated 4,500 people came to rummage through the stalls. Over £20,000 was raised for the charity Kent Minds.

"It's a great family day out and you wouldn't believe the range of items on sale. I've seen everything from books to candelabra; kitchenware to fishing tackle; paintings and furniture - even a stag's head! Items have sold from as little as a few pence to as much as £1000, so there really will be something for everyone." ~ Boot Sale attendent 2006
